The most efficient way to request a refill is via the patient portal, we highly encourage you to use this method as it is secure.
Certain medications cannot be phoned in to a pharmacy, such as ADD medication, and they require the patient to have an original prescription. We ask that you give us at least a minimum of 24 hour notice for any refill requests on ADD medications. When the prescriptions are ready, you will be notified and they will be available for pick up at the front desk. Some children may be required to come in for a visits, depending on the situation, before the refill on the ADD medication will be prescribed.
It is important that the child comes to the office to receive an examination and an accurate diagnosis, therefore, we do not fill new prescriptions or make diagnoses over the phone.
